Since pop.att.yahoo.com hasn't been the documented server for years IMO att (or yahoo) has no obligation to continue to continue to support it. I can access yahoo mail on the website but for just over 48 hours now, the server has been "temporarily unavailable" on POP delivered to Mail for Mac. I rely on managing all my emails from various accounts in this client. Yahoo Mail is quick and efficient and can update itself in the background. If you find yourself manually updating your mailbox, why not let it do it for you? It can search for new email and display it on your device or browser window.
